The French Vanilla K Cup Review

Looking for K Cups?   /  Dunkin Donuts K Cups are FINALLY Here!

The French Vanilla Review!

Why would a guy who loves K Cups and dark, bolk, rich, black coffees be reviewing the french vanilla K Cups from Dunkin Donuts? Well, I suppose that I’ve reviewed all the others, might as well give this one a shot. I am however going to rely on a little bit of information from a few notorious french vanilla lovers and drinkers - my wife and mother-in-law.

The Vanilla K Cups smell very rich and sugary coming out of the brewer. That’s about all I can say about the brewing process. The stream of coffee looks a little lighter than the regular strength stuff, and doesn’t have the strong aroma.

I was unsuccessful at getting my wife to take a sip of it black without adding anything. I just don’t know why she can’t even try it without creamer. Oh well. After adding 4 Splenda and enough creamer to eat a bowl of cereal with, she took her first sip. “It’s fine,” she stated as she watched the news.

That is about the most favorable review that I believe she’ll give for a coffee, because she doesn’t quite have the passion for Dunkin Donuts that I do (though I doubt there are many people who are Dunkin Donuts Superfans like me.)

Next, on to my mother-in-law. She is a true coffee critic whom often buys variety packs throughout the holidays and is very picky when she buys a cup of coffee when we hit the mainland (only at DD) so the results were just a little bit bias. She also keeps a Keurig at their camper, house, workshop, and she has a personal Keurig (just for her) that she keeps at work.

Yea, I got her to try some of the French vanilla flavored K Cup coffee and she was delighted. She said that it could be sweeter (at which point she added some artificial sweetening and a dose of powdered creamer. I guess “sweet” is probably the reason that people drink French Vanilla anyway.

Overall, I guess the Coffee Gets thumbs up all around.
